At least his Ghanaian teammates make West Ham look positively professional!

Mo is gutted, as much as it will be good to have him back (assuming miracle doesn't happen!!) you have to feel for the lad, got MOTM as well! subbed off after 89 mins and then in stoppage time they get 2 back.

his post-match interview here.

4 of the 6 3rd place finishers go through
2 already have 3 pts so need 2 of the following:

Algeria to get at least a pt v last place Mauritania
Cameroon to beat last place Zambia
Zambia to beat Morocco or some other combination that puts the 3rd team with more than 2pts or 2pts & a positive goal difference (not sure thats possible)

What a mad finish. Did they have the same ref as us yesterday or something?

Yes, a few more results need to go a certain way to send them home but it’s not looking great for them. Feel sorry for Kudus on a personal level but selfishly it’s a relief if he comes home early.

Re: Come on you Mozambique’s
Essentially, we need Cameroon to beat Gambia and Algeria to get a point against Mauritania. Couple other results that could send Ghana home but they seem the most likely.

Best 4 3rd placed teams qualify so just need a couple of other results to go our way. Ghana have 2 points.

FMOB, didn't Gahna blow a 2-goal lead against Egypt as well.

See the other game actually finished 2-2 so Ghana3rd in the group, without knowing much about how this comp is run, do 3rd place teams qualify or go into a play off?

hopefully not and Mo is coming home.

Re: Come on you Mozambique’s
What an error by the Ghana keeper. The shot was drifting wide for a goal kick and he touched it as it was about to the cross the line. Mozambique scored from the corner and,,, Kudus is coming home

Re: Come on you Mozambique’s
Kudus taken off on 89 minutes with the score at 2-0 to Ghana and coasting through.

Full time 2-2. Star Boy is coming home.

Some soft penalties given for handball.

Egypt aren't helping either losing to Cape Verde so even a draw means Ghana go through.
